On August 26, a series of online events was held on the theme of celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip hop culture. The title guest was the world-famous Professor Murray Foreman from Notheastern University. Our outstanding guest is an authority on the culture and history of hip-hop. He is the author of the book «Hood in the First Place: Race, Space and Place in rap and hip-hop» and co-editor of That’s the Joint magazine!: A recipient of the Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Award at Harvard University, Foreman’s work critically examines how hip-hop interacts with race, space and identity.

The second part of the meeting was also attended by: Rene John Sandy is the Head of the Hip hop loves Foundation and a well–known producer, as well as hip hop activist artists, researchers from Russia: Grandpa P, Bob. We are very glad that we have the opportunity to hold such international scientific meetings and seminars where you can really learn a lot not only about hip hop culture (of course, about hip hop itself), but also about many aspects of contemporary culture.
