The Nordic Hip Hop Project which took place from June 18 to August 30, was completed successfully in the Summer of 2022 with the support of US Based NGO and a number of Russian Hip Hop independent institutions/communities. In these complicated conditions we as artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and cultural activists prefer to keep on maintaining cultural dialogues with our peers all around the globe. We all are facing different struggles and challenges in our artistic and common life we also try to be optimistic and open-minded enough just to have our common vision on the social well-being of the youth. This year we have been attracting amazing artists from different regions and disciplines (Djing, Beatmaking, Rap, breaking, live music performances) bringing the good atmosphere of «each one teach one» on the ground. We had a chance to visit unique local places in the Russian North such as Plodovoe, Kem, Solovki, and Arkhangelsk with virtual and live hip hop workshops for the local audience. The soulful atmosphere, hospitality, and vital interest from the local people were a great motivation for our crew to keep on doing international humanitarian projects in the future as we see the great potential and intrinsic value of people’s diplomacy yet to be unlocked and understood by broader audiences.
