Our almost 6-month long project of the Russia-Germany project in frames of the Germany Year in Russia is successfully finished. It was a collaboration with our DA EXIT NGO, Hip Hop Union Movement, and Dortmund-based Hip hop Summer School that is produced by Sina Nitzsche. During the project, we`ve been able to make 3 online workshops that were planned to make live but due to the COVID restrictions were shifted to the mixed format of Zoom and live sessions. With Dortmund summer school we`ve been able to connect 2 hip hop artists — MC Schlakks and Souhail Soleil and one Hip hop scholar — Sina Nitzsche with Russian youth and peers from Archangelsk, Severodvinsk and Moscow.
More than 120 people took part in the music, dance, and knowledge ciphers building new bridges for the Russia Germany social hip hop collaboration. More -we actively promoted the inter-regional Russian hip hop collaboration bringing hip hop library and Small One from St. Petersburg with lectures and books.
As a special part of the project, we issued a brochure with artists interviews and observations
